On your initial visit you will be asked to provide the doctor's referral or prescription for physical therapy and your insurance information. Our helpful staff will verify your insurance benefits at this time and let you know what portion of your therapy services your insurance will cover. Lanier Therapy in Motion is proud to be in-network with most major insurance carriers including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna , United Healthcare, Humana, Cigna, Tricare, Medicare and Medicare replacement plans.
If your claim is through Worker's Compensation please provide the employer information and the date of injury. Workers's comp will cover 100% of your therapy services once your coverage is verified.

To more easily examine your injury we may ask you to change into a patient gown. If you would be more comfortable in your own shorts and tee shirt or tank top please bring them with you. If you are being seen for foot orthotics please bring a few pairs of shoes you frequently wear.

The first appointment usually takes about an hour and a half. You will be examined and a treatment plan decided on. This "plan of care" will include your goals as well as that of your physician and therapist. Treatment may include the use of modalities, manual therapy skills, information on symptom management, body mechanics, positioning and posture, and an individual exercise program designed to assist with your recovery.
